Half-Size Cartridge for Humbucker Standard

This is a half-size Somnium cartridge (pickup module) that you can use in either the bridge or neck position. It accepts any standard humbucker guitar pickup, active or passive. Although it has squared off corners and fits vintage pickups like the PAF and many other rectangular humbuckers, you can also install uncovered humbuckers with rounded corners. Installation is solderless with a mini terminal strip for attaching your pickup wires, and the cartridge disassembles in less than a minute. An Allen wrench and mini screwdriver are included.

Our cartridge is made of machined aluminum and stainless steel with mechanical locking pins (no magnets anywhere). Weight is 8.5 oz. (241 g). The pickup mounting hole is 2.77″ by 1.51″ (70.3mm by 38.5mm) with obround screw holes to give you a little wiggle room in case your pickup’s mounting tabs have a little variance.
